God Did Something New In My Life

It has always been a desire of mine to own an SUV. For three years I tried different dealerships but always got turned down. In April of 2017, I got denied again because I needed money down, a co-signer or a higher credit score. That did not shake my faith. That December, the Bishop and Pastors declared December: The Month Of Completion and said whatever hadn’t been approved in the year would be approved now.I trusted GOD and decided to try again. I had taken a job on Long Island and didn’t know how I was going to get there, but I stood in faith that GOD would make a way. I decided to go to a used car dealership and was immediately approved for a nice, used 2015 Hyundai Elantra with no money down.

I loved my car, but my heart’s desire was always to have a SUV and I wasn’t going to stop trying. This year, I had a minor accident, so I had to get a rental car for a month. The rental happened to be a SUV. I fell in love with it and didn’t want to give it back. I asked a Pastor to pray over the rental and stand in agreement with me. After receiving my car back, I asked the Bishop to put his hand on it to bless it. He declared for GOD to bless me with my heart’s desire which was also on my prayer request for the month of Sacrifice in June.

That same week I returned to a dealership that had turned me down three times. I was approved with no money down, no co-signer and was favored with a check close to $1000 to put towards my payments and incentives. This was more than I imagined. GOD has really done something new in my life and honored my sacrifice. Glory to GOD and a big thank you to TTOR for continued prayers and teaching me to use my faith.

He’s A Miracle Working God

I’m sharing my testimony to let you know, what God has done for my family and I. He is such an amazing and miracle working God. At the beginning of 2019 I’ve been claiming my own house, but I didn’t know it was possible because of the circumstances we were facing. I received an eviction notice, claiming we had to vacate the premises and find a home in three weeks. I made up my mind that I was getting a house and not an apartment. Despite the time frame, I believe God could work a miracle within those three weeks. When I went to court the judge said, if we don’t leave the premises I’ll have to pay $7,500.00. I declared and decreed that I was not going to pay it.

During the month of sacrifice, God placed in my heart the amount to sow but it was difficult to do. I was unemployed and had a lack of funds coming in. However, I did what God commanded and obeyed His word, because the Bible states that when you make a vow you have to pay it.

Friends, my sacrifice payed off in a big way! I was offered a huge opportunity to launch my own business and I found my dream house a week before the dead line. It’s a beautiful home with everything I’ve been claiming for the past few years. After the closing of the house the money was provided in abundance along with everything else we needed. God is so awesome!!! TTOR family, always put your faith and trust in God because He can make the impossible possible. He will bring you out of your storms because He’s the one and only true living God. Thank you Bishop and Pastors for your prayers, support and guidance. You are a blessing to us all.

My Sacrifice Speaks For Me

At the beginning of sacrifice month, June 2019 I made a vow that I would give my entire paycheck for the month as a sacrifice. I needed God to move in my life and really come through for me. My work is by commission and I had several deals that were temporarily held up. It was tough to put aside every paycheck but I kept my vow. At the beginning of the next month, July 3rd the doors started to open for me, because that which was held up was released. I received an unexpected check for $600.00 and subsequent to that another check for $4,000.00. The blessings kept flowing then and still is today. My sacrifice is certainly speaking for me. To God be the glory!

Theresa Lewis – Mount Vernon, NY

I Made A Complete recovery For The Glory Of God

My name is Theresa Lewis and I am a member of The Temple of Restoration in Mount Vernon. I came to reside in America in 2014 and I started attending the church in 2015. I was diagnosed with Lupus twenty one years ago and have never been hospitalized for this disease up to this day. Glory to God! My mother died from this disease in 2004 and every time someone dies from it, my family and friends call and I would tell them repeatedly, God has me here for a reason Hallelujah! Because of the medication taken, one of the side effects is the loss of cartilage to the bone. When the cartilage is worn out it causes bones to rub together and this caused great pain in my hips and hand. Because of the excruciating pain I’ve done five major surgeries, four hip replacements and also hand surgery. The prosthesis that is used for hip replacement has a life span of fifteen years. Since my surgery was done in 2001 I had to repeat it last year. Three weeks before the surgery, I found out that my health insurance at work could not cover the expenses. I went to numerous places to obtain health insurance but it was futile, because the amount they requested was unaffordable for me.

Two weeks before the surgery, I came to church and wrote a prayer request asking God for favor with the insurance company. Friends, those little prayer request papers are powerful! I left mine at the altar, went to work Monday and returned Friday. When I got home I heard a voice saying, “Go to the hospital now!” I looked around because the voice was so clear. I picked up my bag and left immediately. When the insurance representative saw me she ushered me to her office, took my documents and said she was going to her supervisor. I sat there for approximately ten to twenty minutes. When she returned I was given a form to sign and was told everything was fine. I remember asking her what that meant and she responded, “You can have the surgery done because everything is covered”. I stood speechless staring at her for a couple minutes and thanked her. I did the surgery last year December 2018 and not only did God waivered a $32,000 surgical fee but He also healed my body quickly. I made a complete recovery for the glory of God. I was able to return to work within six weeks. I thank the pastors and assistants for all their support and prayers. When you put your trust in God He will never disappoint you.

The School of My Choice

From October, 2018 to December I was very busy auditioning for high schools. I had a total of 11 auditions, and each one took between 3-6 hours. I have been working diligently for these auditions from May of last year. Having to take the train from my school in Brooklyn to my program in Manhattan, I have sacrificed a lot to get into the high school of my choice. Before each audition, the pastor prayed and anointed me.

For many nights my mother and I prayed over my request hoping for the big miracle that I would get accepted. I also went to service Monday nights and walked through the open door with my prayer request. Last week the high school acceptances were announced. I was nervous to log into the system to find out. I was excited to discover that I was accepted to my first choice at heart and I will major in Theatre Arts. I want to thank God for blessing me and continuing to guide me with intelligence and faith. I also thank the pastor for her support and prayers. We serve an awesome God, hallelujah!
