God Is A Miracle Working God

Since my husband and I started attending The Temple of Restoration in Mount Vernon, we have been very blessed. Prior to attending the church we filed for our Green Card ten years ago and was denied permanent residency. We were so disappointed because our four children reside in Jamaica and we have not seen them in twenty five years. Apart from this dilemma, my younger son needed healing from a leg injury which the doctor wanted to amputate. My older son was caught in a crossfire and did not suffer any gunshot wounds. To God be the glory!

Today, despite all the setbacks, fear and disappointments I can truly say, God is a miracle working God. Because of our perseverance, prayers and attending the family services, we got our victory. I was determined that 2019, year of Joseph was going to be our year of accomplishments. The Bishop declared it would be a year of breakthroughs and I received it. We reapplied for our Green Card in October, 2018 and received them in the mail without an interview in 2019. We are planning to visit our children in December, praise God. Our son was also healed and made a complete recovery. I would not have made it this far without the guidance, teaching and prayers of our pastors in Mount Vernon. Thanks TTOR family for all your support.

My God Showed Up For Me

I have been in the United States for many years and wanted to apply for my citizenship but a situation occurred in 2007 that kept me from doing so. You see, I was wrongly accused, arrested and spent the night in jail. I was released the next day, but the case lingered on for several months. I was advised by my attorney that even though I was innocent it was best to plead guilty and pay a small fine which I did. I later understood that the guilty plea would blemish my records for twenty-six years.
Last year, I spoke to an attorney pertaining to my citizenship. Even though it did not look good I still went ahead and submitted my paperwork in January 2019. I was called for an interview in October and during the interview process I explained the charges but then the officer realized I did not have my sealed copy. He gave me an opportunity to get docs from the court and return immediately. Upon my return, the officer reviewed the charges with me and said he was satisfied with what he saw and confirmed that I would receive a letter in three weeks to swear in.
My friends, you would not believe that the sealed charges read to me had absolutely nothing to do with what I was arrested for several years ago. The sealed documents said I was arrested for marijuana and the case was closed and charges erased. I have never used marijuana at any time in my life. It was then that I realized that my God showed up for me in the 11th month of November and erased eleven years off of my record. I am now a proud citizen of the United States.

I encourage everyone to keep fasting, praying, believing and trusting the Lord. The God I serve is able to move mountains and perform the miraculous in your life even in the 11th hour. Don’t ever give up, keep fighting!
